Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has slammed his team following their 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid. The Galacticos played well in the first half but couldn’t make inroads until Karim Benzema scored from nowhere in the 82nd minute.
However, six minutes later, Sergio Guardiola scored as Dani Carvajal was caught out of position. It was something that didn’t go down well with the Frenchman, who claimed that the loss was a bitter taste in the mouth while also pointing out the error in positional judgment.
“It left a bitter taste in my mouth,” the French manager was quoted Live Soccer TV.
“You can lose the ball, that can happen, but we were out of position to defend.”
Zidane: “We can’t be happy with that result. We scored in the 83 minutes and we drew. This makes my blood boil.” [as]

Zidane then lamented the fact that the Galacticos conceded a goal right after scoring one following minutes of hard work. He also added that the team should be focused for the whole of 90 minutes and not just an hour or so.
“We had done the most difficult, scoring a goal, and then we need to get the ball the f*** out of there for the rest of the game. We know we have to play the 90 minutes. We can’t just play 50 or 60 minutes,” Zizou added.
Madrid play Villarreal in the next match in the league and would look to get back to winning ways.
