Wolves winger Adama Traore has emerged as one of the attractions of the season in the Premier League for his explosive pace, dribbling ability and his impressive physique.
However, in an interview with Spanish television station La Sexta, he revealed that his physique is a result of genetics as opposed to putting in the hours at the gym.
“My training? I don’t do weights. It’s hard to believe, but I don’t do weights. It’s genetic. I exercise, but I gain mass very quickly,” he claimed.
Adama Traoré completed 15 take-ons vs. Watford. For context, that’s more than Trent Alexander-Arnold has completed in the league this season (13).

Traore has made 30 appearances for Wolves this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting twice, including 3 well taken strikes in two wins against Champions Manchester City.
The player also recently spoke about a future move away from the high flying Premier League side, stating that he wouldn’t think twice about joining Real Madrid if they came calling – despite spending some of his formative years at arch rival Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy.
“If I have to go to Madrid, I will go,” he said, before stating that he still has a point to prove in England before he decides to return to Spain and ply his trade.
“Yes, why not [move to La Liga]? But I made a promise to become one of the best in England.”
