​Juventus coach Max Allegri handed out starts to a huge number of second choice players as he stacked his substitute bench with first team players for the ​Serie A clash against Parma.

The Italian champions had 12 substitutes on the bench and one of those included club legend Gianluigi Buffon, who returned to the club this summer.

In terms of defenders, Juventus had Danilo and Merih Demiral alongside summer signing Matthijs de Ligt on the bench.

Talking about their midfielders and wingers who were also sat on the bench, players like Adrien Rabiot, Emre Can, Rodrigo Bentancur, Juan Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi were not handed starts by Allegri along with strikers Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic.
