The colossal 182 metre-tall statue of Sardar Patel is located on an island on the Narmada river close to Kevadia, round 100 km south-east of Vadodara metropolis of Gujarat.
Constructed at a value of almost Rs 3,000 crore, the landmark statue was designed by sculptor Ram V Sutar of Maharashtra and constructed by Mumbai-based Larsen & Toubro firm.
