A 24-year-old lady was injured after she was allegedly attacked with a knife by a drunk man who labored as a safety guard within the Dabri space of Dwarka district, police stated immediately. He additionally stalked her and handed lewd feedback at her, they added.

The incident came about on Monday night when she was returning house after work, they stated.

In her criticism, the lady, who works at a non-public agency in Rohini, alleged that after deboarding from Dabri Extra metro station, as she was strolling in the direction of Dabri flyover, the person, recognized as Raman Kumar, 55, handed lewd feedback at her and when she resisted, he left the place, a senior police official stated.

Police officers then took the accused and the lady to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital the place a medical examination was performed, the officer stated.

Police stated the accused was drunk on the time of the incident and was was unknown to the lady.

Subsequently, he was arrested and despatched to judicial custody for 14 days.
