Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger believes that Real Madrid still haven’t seen the best of new signing, Eden Hazard and even if they do, he won’t be able to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hazard who was signed in the summer for 100million, has struggled with injuries and fitness issues, but he did look like he was getting back to his best during their 4-0 win over Granada, where he scored his first goal and registered his first assist.

Despite not convincing everybody, the Los Blancos find themselves on top of the La Liga table with 18 points from eight games and Wenger believes that the Belgian will play a key role in their fortunes this season.

“He will be the answer but not in replacing Ronaldo, that is for sure. He will not score 50 goals a year because that’s now how they play football. Eden Hazard is an exceptional player to create chances to sometimes finish when he needs to in the big games,” Wenger said to beIN Sports, as quoted by Goal.

“He’s not scared of anybody – I don’t think Real have yet to see the real Hazard, he’s not as sharp physically as he can be. That’s why I believe they will discover the real Hazard.”

The 28-year-old will definitely need to be at his best if Madrid are to end Barcelona’s dominance in the league this season.
