Out of favour Juventus striker, Gonzalo Higuain reportedly is not ready to leave the Italian champions despite the club wanting to sell the striker in the summer transfer window with reports stating that they do not see him as having a future with them.

The Argentinian returned back to Turin from his loan spell at Chelsea where he failed to impress, only managing to score five goals in 14 appearances for them, which led to the Stamford Bridge outfit deciding against an option on exercising their right to sign him on a permanent basis.

As per Livescoccertv, a host of Italian clubs, including the likes of AS Roma are keen to get him on their books but it is understood that the player himself is adamant at staying with Juventus as he is keen to impress their new manager, Maurizio Sarri who has been a champion of his during their time together at both Napoli and Chelsea.

The striker has been called up by the Bianconeri to their training centre as they begin preparations for their pre-season tour and it will be interesting to see whether he impresses enough for the club to decide on keep him at Turin on permanent basis.

The 31-year-old has a decent record for Juventus, netting 55 goals in 105 games so far for them.
