Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has taken the Premier League by storm ever since landing on England shores last season, with the striker continuing his brilliant form this campaign too netting 16 goals so far.
The striker is now two ahead of nearest competitors Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot this season, with the Egyptian recently netting his 50th goal in the Premier League.
Salah needed 72 games to reach the mark, which was the fourth fastest in terms of games only behind Andy Cole, Alan Shearer and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who needed lesser matches to net 50 goals in the league.
However, the 26-year-old is the fastest player to reach the landmark in terms of minutes played, with the Egyptian needing 5,374 minutes to net his 50th goal, a whole 90 minutes quicker than second-placed Fernando Torres.
Manchester City star Sergio Aguero comes third, needing 210 minutes longer than the Egyptian, with Van Nistelrooy, Cole and Shearer next on the list. Salah would have probably reached the mark faster as he was played as a winger during his time at Chelsea, while Reds manager Jurgen Klopp played him on the wings initally before permanently shifting him to the forward position.
