With that in mind, here are the three things to look forward to as Real Madrid take on Celta Vigo.
3. Hazard is back
Eden Hazard is finally going to be back for this clash. After getting injured in November last year, the Belgian had been kept out of action by the injury and manager, Zinedine Zidane played it very safe with the forward.
After weeks of precaution, the Frenchman has finally included the number 7 in the squad and we could see him play for at least a few minutes against Celta. As a result, it would be interesting to see how he copes up after so many months out of action.
2. Aspas in action
Iago Aspas has been one of the stars for Celta Vigo for a long time now. He has won the Zarra trophy, awarded to the highest-scoring Spaniard in the league, for the last three seasons in a row and has netted eight goals this season from 23 matches so far.
While those numbers might not be as good it usually is, he could still be a huge danger for the Los Blancos if the defence slacks off a little bit. The Spaniard is a clever player with a knack of scoring goals against the run of play.
1. Jovic’s confidence
Luka Jovic hasn’t been the same striker at Real Madrid this season that he was at Frankfurt last year. The Serbian, however, scored an incredible goal against Osasuna in the last match, which could boost his confidence.
With Karim Benzema not playing at his usual top level in the last few weeks, Zidane might be tempted to give Jovic a chance in this – at least more than the usual 10 minutes – and it would be interesting to see how the former Frankfurt star takes it.
