Barcelona star Luis Suarez has opened up on fellow teammate Lionel Messi, claiming that the superstar does not watch their matches back because he is too self critical. The Uruguayan and Messi are considered to be the best of friends not only on the pitch but off the pitch, ever since he moved to the Nou Camp from Liverpool in 2014.
When asked whether Messi watches Barcelona’s games back in order to evaluate his performance, Suarez revealed that he does not, but that they do talk about the matches a lot.

“No, but we talk about a lot of situations in matches. The good as much as the bad because we’re both self-criticial. There are days when the team wins and I feel frustrated because I didn’t perform well,” he said as quoted by Mirror.
“And Leo knows I’m in an argumentative mood. The same way I know when he’s angry because he didn’t have a good performance.”
The 31-year-old is widely considered to be the greatest footballer in the history of the sport and has been in brilliant form this season too, scoring 27 goals in 26 games so far as he looks to lead Barcelona to the treble this campaign.
