Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he is ready to give most players in the squad another chance to prove themselves ahead of the new season, even as the team prepare to head out for their pre-season tour.

Solskjaer will be in charge of the club for his first full season, having taken over the reins from Jose Mourinho in December last year on an interim basis. Although he could not guide the team a place in the top four of the Premier League, he would be expected to do better this season.

As part of achieving their targets, the club are making their foray into the transfer market and have completed the signings of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The Norwegian has insisted that he was ready to give most of the players that were already at the club one more chance, referencing his own playing days.

According to Goal, he said, “Yeah, there is a chance for everyone. They are all going to be a part of this. Well, most of them anyway. I always felt the first couple of weeks was a big chance for me to impress the gaffer and to show him that I am ready for the season.”

The likes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku may not remain at the club beyond the summer, with both players looking for a way out, as confirmed by their agents Mino Raiola and Federico Pastorello

The rest of the squad, however, would certainly be keen on impressing the manager, who will be preparing his team for a tough start to the season as they face Chelsea in their first game of the new campaign.
