Barcelona travel to Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium for their first leg draw of the Copa del Rey quarter final on Wednesday.

In the last round, Barca breezed past Levante 3-0 in the second leg after overturning a slight upset in the form of a 2-1 defeat in the first leg. Several rested players from the weekend’s La Liga game against Leganes are likely to return for the clash, with star man Lionel Messi one of them.

The two sides met in the final of the same competition last year, where Barcelona thrashed the hosts 5-0. Sevilla will be looking for redemption in a competition that Barcelona have won in each of the past four years.

Here’s a look at how the visitors might line up…

3. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Gerard Pique

Jasper Cillessen (GK) – Cillessen has featured heavily in this competition so far and will likely start in goal, replacing first choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Nélson Semedo (RB) – Semedo will likely play at right back. He has been competing with Sergi Roberto for a starting place, but now looks to be the favoured choice.

Clement Lenglet (CB) – Lenglet may feature against his former side. The injury to first choice centre back Samuel Umtiti has given him the opportunity for a run in the side.

Gerard Piqué (CB) – Pique will likely start, where he will lead the defensive line. His experience in this competition will be extremely valuable.

Jordi Alba (LB) – Alba has established himself as one of the best left backs in the world and offers a very dynamic threat going forward, supporting Barcelona‘s lethal attacking force.

2. Midfielders

Ivan Rakitic

Ivan Rakitić (CM) – Rakitic was rested against Leganes in La Liga on Saturday and will more than likely be in the starting team. His experience in this midfield will be invaluable with two relative Barcelona newcomers alongside him.

Arthur (CM) – The youngster has been very impressive since his move from Gremio in the summer, slotting into the role that Andres Iniesta filled efficiently, and is certainly one for the future.

Arturo Vidal (CM) – Having been rested for Barcelona’s most recent fixture, Vidal will be fresh and hoping to feature. He will likely replace Busquets, who has been left out of the squad.

1. Forwards

Luis Suarez

Kevin Prince Boateng (RW) – With Lionel Messi left out of the squad, new signing Boateng may be thrown in at the deep on the right wing.

Luis Suarez (ST) – Suarez‘s clinical prowess in front of goal, alongside his clever movement and interlinking with Messi, make the Uruguayan a nightmare to play against. He will want to add to his tally of 15 goals this season.

Philippe Coutinho (LW) – With Ousmane Dembele injured, Coutinho may play further forward. He will be the main supply line to the two forwards.
