Real Madrid have been facing a plethora of issues with regards to their attacking force this season and if reports are to be believed, then, apart from their latest signings, they are not in the market for any striker this month.
Trusted Spanish outlet AS have gone on to confirm that Real Madrid are happy with the squad they have and are not considering January as a month for an overhaul as they look ahead at one of the most important summer transfer windows for the club in recent times.
This decision made by Real Madrid came after tracking multiple targets this month which meant that the club has ended their January business after capturing the signing of Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz.
Los Blancos were said to have been considering bringing in a centre-forward and had scouted multiple options including Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek, RB Leipzig star Timo Werner and Inter Milan talisman Mauro Icardi.
However, that plan too has now taken the backseat with the rise of Vinicius Junior as well as Karim Benzema making himself available to play despite breaking a finger.
The Spanish report concludes by stating that only if Real suffer a major collapse in form between now and the end of January, then they will drop their hand into the transfer market.
Otherwise, the only deal expected to be done till the end of January is one for Porto defender Eder Militao, who will join the club in the summer.
