Cristiano Ronaldo made his return to Juventus‘ starting XI against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday while sporting a hairband and nobody seemed to understand the logic behind it.
The Portuguese forward started against Los Rojiblancos after missing out against Atalanta over the weekend. And he returned to action sporting a hairband, despite his hair being quite short.
Ronaldo is known for not modifying his iconic look enough but this hairband definitely caught the attention of the world on social media website Twitter.
Here are some of the most hilarious reactions by fans…..

Paulo Dybala’s sublime free kick was the difference at the Allianz Stadium as Juventus edged out Atletico Madrid 1-0.
Dybala gave I Bianconeri the lead in first-half stoppage time, curling a sublime free kick beyond Jan Oblak from an acute angle. The Atleti goalkeeper was slightly unsighted, but will certainly feel that he could have done better on this occasion. It was no more than Juventus deserved after dominating possession against a resolute Rojiblancos.
Meanwhile, Portugese and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is closing in on another record in his illustrious career with the 34-year-old on his way to becoming the holder of UEFA’s all-time appearance record holder.
Ronaldo who turned out for Juventus during their 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the competition last night, has now made 175 appearances in all UEFA club competitions, which has ensured that he has moved above Italy and AC Milan legend, Paolo Maldini in the all-time appearances list in Europe.
