Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has insisted that he is not concerned about the form of Eden Hazard after the Belgian struggled to make an impact during their 1-0 win over Galatasary in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Madrid signed Hazard amid great fanfare from Chelsea for €100million in the summer, but the winger has found it difficult to adapt to life in Madrid with fitness and form issues leading to some poor displays.
The 28-year-old was guilty of a shocking miss against Galatasary with the goal at his mercy, which has already led to criticism over his ineffectual displays. Hazard though did get an assist for Madrid’s goal, rather fortuitously, though Zidane has backed the winger to fire.
“It doesn’t worry me. He’s better and he’s going to improve more. The important thing is that he continues to have chances, because he’s going to put them in,” he said post the game as quoted by Goal.
Hazard has netted only one goal in seven appearances for the Los Blancos so far and he will look to ensure that he gets back to form in their next game against Leganes, which is scheduled for the 30th of October after their El Clasico clash against Barcelona was postponed due to security concerns.
